Fungtional Lab's has eliminated the time of cleaning and sterilization. Our ready-to-inoculate sterilized grain bags are ready for you to add your choice of mushroom spawn (clean spore or liquid culture).
Fungtional Labs utilizes sterilized grains to create a clean and healthy environment for fungi growth, and ensures the success of mycelial colonization.
We prepare our grain by soaking them for 18 to 24 hours to initiate germination, hydration, and to soften the grains.
Additional nutrients are added to support faster colonization.
Using commercial grade autoclaves, we are able to sterilize our grains with use of heat and pressure to kill any bacteria or contaminants that may be present in the grain.
❌ Our Sterilized Grain has been formulated without the use of manure, GMOs, or harsh additives.
